HyperPCB supplies heavy copper PCB solutions with inner layers to 12 oz and outer layers to 14 oz for power conversion, busbar replacement and motor drives, including mixed-weight builds and metal-core hybrids for thermal spreading.

Replacing busbars and wiring
Heavy copper planes carry the current that would otherwise need busbars, cable lugs and the labour to fit them. The board becomes the power distribution, which removes assembly steps and the joints that come with them.
Design rules scale with copper weight
Thick copper etches with sloped sidewalls, so line and space limits grow with weight. Tell us the current per net and the temperature rise you can accept and we will return a geometry that is manufacturable at that weight.
